The following is an example of daily activities written by a student, Yu Mei. She tells her friend Jen, her e-pal about her routines every Fridays. She says that Fridays are busy day for her.

Hi Jen,
I can't write a lot! Fridays are really busy for me. At 8.00 I have math - ugh! Everyone says it will be useful someday, but I'm not so sure. Then at 9.00 I have science. It's difficult, but interesting. At 10.00 I have history. Boring! But at least I have P.E. to look forward to at 11.00. P.E. is easy and fun. We have lunch from 12.00 to 1.00. The first subject after lunch is literature. It's easy. And I like my literature teacher, Mr. Lopez. He's such fun. My classes finish at 2.00. But after that I have gymnastics club for two hours. This is really challenging! Our teacher is very strict, and we get very tired. And after gymnastics I go to my music club. Music is cool, so that's something else to look forward to.
