Contoh Kalimat Memakai Was dan Were

Was dan were adalah dua kata bantu dalam kalimat Bahasa Inggris. Kedua kata ini biasanya disebut Auxiliary Verb atau To Be.

Was dan were digunakan sebagai kata bantu dalam kalimat bentuk lampau yaitu past tense bentuk nominal dan past continuous tense.

Contoh past tense berbentuk nominal:

• I was there yesterday.
• You were rich man a few days ago, why are you so poor now?
• They were happy to hear the news.
• We were ready to face the enemy. But, now we are afraid.
• He was such a busy man.
• She was so pretty young lady.
• It was hot.

Contoh past continuous tense:
