Lesson Plan: How to Express Asking and Giving Something

By the end of the lesson students will be better able to practice expressing asking and giving something.

Procedure:

Warmer:

• Write down on the board “Food and Drink”.
• Tell an initial of food or drink (one by one) and ask students to guess is it. Provide 4 names of food or drink.
• Make a spider web, ask students to fill with food or drink.

Main Activities:

• Read 3 sentences in normal speed. And ask students to write. Ask some volunteers to write on the board after you finish telling one sentence.

Give me some water, please!
Could you give me a cup of coffee?
Can you buy me some rice?

• Ask students to fill the gap with some food or drink.
• Ask students to practice the conversation with their partner.

Post Activities:

Ask students to complete the missing word with a, an, or some.
