Why is English just Foreign Language in Indonesia?

In Indonesia, English is being a foreign language. It means, English is only learnt in the classroom as a subject. Whereas outside the classroom, people usually use bahasa Indonesia or their mother language.

Learning English as a foreign language has so many hindrance, like easy to forget the language and errors when producing pronunciation. Sometimes learners do some mistakes in grammar.

English Teachers try hard in teaching English because they find many difficulties. Their duty is not only how to teach English well, but also to make students interested in learning English.
