Game For Teaching Irregular Verbs

This game is used to make your students enjoy learning English. It's suggested to apply in learning grammar especially when introducing irregular verbs.

Procedure:

1. Give students a list of irregular verbs.

2. Ask students to draw table as the following:
















 
3. Ask students to put 16 verbs from the list. To make it simple, focus on one list of verbs. Example: if you teach them Present Perfect Tense, ask them to put the Past Participle only.
Example:

hit

dug

eaten
read
let
fed

drawn

4. Tell them that you are going to call out some verbs from list. Tell them that they have to cross out a verb that is called out. If there is 4 verbs in one straight line, they have to say "BINGO"

5. Call out some verbs. 

6. Give small prize like candy to student who says "BINGO"

7. Continue the game until you find 5 winners.
